Title: HF Thien design - opinions wanted
Post by: bbrown on February 07, 2015, 08:43:37 PM

I think this design looks simple, easy, and inexpensive.

If it works well, I think I'll be using this with my new HF collector.

Do folks see any problems with it?

   Thanks for input and opinions,

Looking at your video, it appears there is more waste discharging outside than there should be.

The HF DC is probably the most used and modified unit duscussed in this forum.  There are lots of ideas you could find to improve the performance of your system.  You've already received one from dabullseye.

Here's mine.  If you haven't already removed the hook at the end of your drop slot, do so immediately.  Make it round, smooth, and undercut.  If not, as soon as you start sending planer shavings through you will get a birds nest.
