Hi all,

Brand new member, so please excuse my ignorance of the process. I'm thinking about building a baffle for my Delta 70-560 with 5 inch inlet using a Brute 20gal can so it fits under the DC on the OEM cart. Inner diameter of the can is about 18 inch, so I wonder if this is too small for the separator to work properly ? Alternative is to go to a 32gal can and raise the DC or build a new stand as some have done. I know this has been addressed before but I haven't seen anyone build using the 20gal can...does it work well or should I just go for the bigger can ? Thanks for your help.

Read back over the last ten pages of threads, including every response.  There is a ton of information and almost certainly every question you have has been answered at least once.  It is a small investment in time when you consider how many hours you are going to spend building your separator.

Thanks retired2 for the quick reply. Looks like I'm headed for a 32gal can and a new stand. Thanks for all your good work.
