Title: Planer sled
Post by: atao on December 31, 2020, 07:53:34 PM
I just had to post about how brilliant the planer sled technique is.
I?ve used it a few times with great success.

I?m just rather shocked that this isn?t *the* technique to use, but instead on YouTube, you see everyone using the shim technique which is just a much more painful and error prone method.

Cheers!

Planed some 6/4 white oak to make this bench.

That, sir, is absolutely gorgeous!

What beautiful wood and grain.

What did you use for a finish?
